My story
When I was twelve, my teacher scolded me for reading Tamora Pierce novels in class instead of participating in a game of UNO with my peers. When he caught me reading another novel under my desk the next week, he helped me enroll in my state’s Younger Writers Association. That same year, I published my first short story in a local youth magazine and got to read another on the local branch of the National Public Radio Station (shout out to KLCC).
Since then, I have been personally and professionally involved in the world of writing and publishing in a variety of capacities, including as:
a college writing instructor,
ESL teacher,
copy editor for academic research,
and line editor for fiction.
As the founder, owner, and operator of The Write Rose Editing, I am committed to empowering my clients and helping them achieve the highest-quality publications. I have worked with independent authors, academic researchers and graduate students, small businesses, and more. Your writing matters, no matter what it is. Let me help you tell your story.
Keep writing.
